The Acer Aspire TC-1785 has an M.2 slot for a PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD, which enables the installation of a PCIe SSD, for example an M.2 NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 990 Pro up to 4 TB. It is also possible to connect an additional 2.5-inch SATA SSD internally via the SATA connections. To install a PCIe SSD, the M.2 SSD must be inserted into the corresponding M.2 slot on the mainboard, which is designed for PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSDs. If you want to add a second SSD, you can use a 2.5-inch SATA SSD and connect it via the SATA ports; there are either suitable brackets or adapters for mounting if no direct mounting holes are available.
