I'm going to Australia for 7 months in the outback. Can I use a Starlink I bought here there? Can I also buy a plan from Digitec? E.g. unlimited for 72 Fr. What is included? A stand or does it have to be bought separately?

Addendum: I would put it into operation here first. I couldn't get my Starlink from Digitec to work straight away because the Starlink app said that the kit was already active in another account, but I only have one. I suspect it was a Starlink error. After providing the serial number/kit number, support was able to unlock the Starlink for me so that I could put it into operation in my account with a subscription. It now has a travel plan, which was only used on a trial basis and at the end of the month it goes into sleep mode (this can always be switched on after a month, the plan "sleeps" during this time and costs nothing), after which it can simply be put back into operation directly from the app. This is easier than cancelling, because the system always checks whether there is enough capacity if you want to reactivate it, if this is not the case, it cannot be activated. That wouldn't be great either. The first Starlink kit is directly from Starlink, i.e. from the shop, and could be set up and switched on without any problems and was immediately online, as the plan was ordered directly with the kit. Disadvantage: it takes about 3 weeks for the kit to arrive, Digitec is quicker. The first kit has a home plan installed and serves as a backup for our fibre connection, which has sometimes been down for several hours, which for me is like being banned from work. One more thing about the speed: I achieve speeds of 200-just over 400Mbit/s in download and 20-40Mbit/s in upload. The latency is 15-40ms, which is highly acceptable for satellite Internet. Even "gaming" which I don't do myself, but I do in the household ;) is possible without any problems, I did the blind test and routed the internal LAN to Starlink for 2 days, there were no complaints. It's far better than a 4/5G backup, which depends a lot on your location in relation to the masts. A few crumbling Mbit/s depending on the number of users, because when everyone is surfing it gets even slower (primetime from 5 pm - 11 pm).

Travel plans activated in Switzerland (72.-) only work abroad for 2 months. After that it has to go on air again in Switzerland.
If you want to spend more than 2 months abroad, you have to buy a more expensive plan. Or you can use the Starlink kit abroad with an address from there. I think this is also possible with a fictitious address. The only important thing is that the plan is put into operation and activated at this address for the first time.
If you want to try it in Switzerland first, there should be no problem. However, the plan must be cancelled first and the Starlink transferred to the new account with the address abroad. Otherwise you will receive a message that the kit is already active in another account.
The new account must then have the address abroad. Disadvantage, if you activate abroad, you will not have a CH IP address, geo-blocked sites in Switzerland will not work. For example, TV streaming from Teleboy etc.
However, this can be solved with a VPN.
The Stabdard kit can be placed in the garden as it arrives and put into operation. A stand is not necessary. However, a good all-round view must be guaranteed. For optimum speed and no interruptions. Setting up is easy. Place the antenna in the garden, plug everything in, start it and put it into operation with the help of the APP, which also shows you whether you need to turn the thing a little. In Switzerland, the optimum alignment is towards the north, a few degrees to the west. This will probably be different in the southern hemisphere. But it would quickly become apparent.
