I see that all Vivoactive watches are only compatible with Android... surely they are also compatible with iOS? Garmin Connect is also available for IOS... or why does the Vivomove HR say both and here only Android?

Yes, it is absolutely IOS compatible - works fine for me anyway and I have Garmin Connect on my iPhone SE :-)
