Question about Huawei Mate S Force Touch

This will not work (yet). Due to the built-in Force Touch technology, the objects must be electrically conductive!

On the Digitec page you can see a plastic bottle filled with water being weighed.

Plastic does not conduct electricity, or does it conduct electricity in minute quantities? In this respect, I don't understand the answer. The sensor reacts to weight regardless of the conductivity of the weighed object, doesn't it?

I tried to find more information about the sensor, but I couldn't find anything in the technical specifications on various sites. I find the "Force Touch" technology interesting for developers. Do you have a link that proves your statement? Thank you.
