I want to ask the impact of Mavic Air 2's weight (570g) on flying it in Switzerland. Does it mean I cannot fly it in areas where I can fly Mavic Mini (or even Mavic Air 1). On DJI website, the maps for Air 2 and Mini are the same (https://www.dji.com/ch/flysafe/geo-map). Which means both can be flown in authorization and warning zones with after unlocking. But on FOCA site it looks like Air 2 will not be allowed in blue and magenta zones (https://www.bazl.admin.ch/bazl/en/home/good-to-know/drones-and-aircraft-models/dronenguide.html). It is quite confusing. Can anyone with experience help me understand.
The mavic 2 air would not be allowed on the yellow and magenta zones, and allowed under 150m on blue zones(, unless that means the maximum theoretical possible height, in this case the answer might be no). In any case, you need a one million franc insurance, and be outside the red DABS zones, and have a VLOS.
Drones under 500g have only the yellow and red DABS zone restrictions + VLOS
Extra restrictions for over 500g:
magenta zones: no;
blue zones: under 150m;
100m from a crowd;
1million franc insurance coverage
