Question about Icy Box Ib-Dk2403-C

I use the docking station with my Lenovo Yoga Slim 7. I replaced the German power supply with the CH power supply from the laptop (I also tried the original power supply with adapter). The dock works perfectly, but does not charge the laptop as desired with the USB C cable. It also says in the info: battery 95% connected, not charging. Do I still need a USB-C cable for the power? Shouldn't a USB-C cable be enough?

Charging through the docking station should work. I used the docking station with a MacBook pro. That worked wonderfully. Did you plug the laptop into the correct USB-C port? I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think every port supplies power to the laptop.

Hi Tom, yes I did, exactly I have 2 ports, had tried both. I also had some problems with connecting a screen, it didn't recognise it and later when it found it, it also had synchronisation problems when connecting the laptop (screen found, then gone again, on again, gone again every second). I switched everything on/off again and restarted the laptop, reconnected all the plugs and plugged in the original power supply with a CH adapter: then it worked! I don't know what the problem was, I'll see tonight if it works now :) Thank you for your answer!
