I use Apple products privately, but have always used a Windows PC. Now I'm interested in whether it would make sense to switch. Is the device suitable for Onedrive, Lightroom and Office products? Has anyone had any experience of this? Many thanks & a happy new year

Hello,

I'm in charge of Mac computing at a local institution.
It's perfectly possible to use Microsoft and Adobe software on macOS: the Mac versions are recognised for their stability and performance, which are often equivalent to, or even better than, those offered on Windows.

Happy New Year to you too...

Hello, personal experience: No problems with One Drive and MS Office. This should also be the case with Lightroom. However, I have no personal experience with it.

the very question: whether a switch would make sense: it's an ecosystem, like microsiff. everything has advantages and disadvantages... there are two or three people who have experience... lightromm is out. if you want to stay adobe younger: go for it!

mac is not pc, you can process everything like that. light room is old fashioned, you should be more modern. if you use onedrive, you are a bit behind, but mac can do that. and being a bit flexible in development is good. so: good choice and have fun.
