I see a lot of people with cameras on their houses, and these cameras are connected directly to electricity. According to eufy, it is possible to charge the battery via direct electricity, but again they can't tell me how this works. Even those who have already fitted cameras to their houses can't answer this question for me. Is there anyone here who can explain this to me?

Thank you for your comment. However, my question was solely about how automatic charging works, not about which camera supports it or whether solar charging is possible. You don't know where the camera will be mounted. There is no sunlight at this location, so the camera must be operated with mains power.

The concept is: When the camera battery is low, an automatic circuit (like a switch) should activate the power supply and charge the camera. As soon as the battery is full again, the power supply should be interrupted automatically.

To realise this, I need the following information:

What current (amps) and power (watts) are required for this charging process via the power supply unit?
Which USB-C cable is required? Given the many cables available (e.g. 100 W, 140 W, 180 W - 200 W), will a standard 30 W cable be sufficient?
What specifications does the power supply need to have (e.g. 1 A, 3 A or 5 A) and what wattage is required?

Yes, it's possible in the same way as recharging it
USBC cable and standard phone charger are all you need
You can leave it on 24 hours a day
But you'll need to buy the waterproof cable from eufy, otherwise your charging port will leak.
