I received this phone as a gift (purchase date 31.3.2022). How can I buy a warranty extension for myself at a later date? (Please only sound, watertight answers to the question, no opinions and no other advice or comments).

You can only ask the person who gave you the smartphone to extend the warranty for you, if you are lucky, that should still work. However, I don't know if this is still possible after 14 days, but it wouldn't be a problem for 2 days. Otherwise just ask Digitec support, they are always very solution-oriented:)
