I read something about the Blackberry ID. Is it mandatory to have a Blackberry ID and register to use a Blackberry or is the existing Google account enough? I don't want to have to have two accounts to use the phone. Thank you already for an answer!

I have the same smartphone and did not need a Blackberry ID. Was able to set everything up with my existing Google account.
