I like the idea of only connecting one cable between the laptop and the display, but how do you do that when you only have one USB-C port on the laptop that is dedicated to charging. I can't run on battery power while powering the display. I do have a USB-A 3.2 port but I don't think it will ever be powerful enough to power the display. Any recommendations?

No problem to power on a USB3 port with the supplied adapter, but you need to install a driver (which is not necessary for USB-C).
