I have this device. It had to be repaired after about a month because the keyboard no longer works. I think that since then the trackpad makes a clicking noise every time it is touched, which did not happen before. The noise occurs even with a light touch, so it seems as if the trackpad has play. I have already sent the laptop for repair twice, without success and without an answer to my complaint. How is it with you? Does your trackpad also make a noise when you touch it? When pressing the bottom left or right button, it's clear that there is a clicking noise.
Hi. I had this device as a replacement device in the meantime. The trackpad had also caused such clicking noises. According to Asus, it was definitely a hardware defect. The device was sent in. I now own the bundle unit and the trackpad is fine. (However, the device also had to be sent in after less than two months due to various defects). Unfortunately, it seems to be a fault-prone device. So don't be put off. Your trackpad is indeed defective and should be repaired under warranty.
