I have the same one as a 27 inch, but I'm looking for a second screen next to it, because mine from the shop isn't that good (old model and poor picture quality). But I think another 27 inch is too big. Is it worth mixing the sizes here or would it be better to have 2x 27 inch?

Hello, I have two 24" Samsung screens of this type. I find it more advisable to use two screens of the same dimension. That way, the eyes don't have to focus on another dimension, which makes working much more pleasant. 
Unless you don't place the second one right next to it. Then the size plays a less important role.
