I have the predecessor in the house. I now have 4 nodes on 2 floors to have reasonably good coverage. The question now is, should I switch to the new one? Better? Do I need fewer nodes? Experiences?

I don't know how big your house is or how thick your walls are. But these Linksys Velop WiFi 6 are certainly stronger in range and give me the same WiFi speed whether connected by cable or via WiFi.... - For me the perfect product and absolutely recommendable - Whether you need less of the parts in your house, I think so. Switching to this new version is certainly worth it.

With the AX4200, I changed the existing 5300 installed in the basement to an adjacent room via Ethernet. This gave me a larger network. I left the small Velops where they were distributed in the house. Now I have a better, more stable network, no matter how many devices (iPhones, iPads, iMacs, AppleTV) are running at the same time.
