Question about Ergotron HX Monitor Arm with patented CF technology
I have the 49" Dell UltraSharp U4919DW (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/dell-ultrasharp-u4919dw-49-5120-x-1440-pixels-monitor-10208942), which according to the data sheet (https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files/4/1/2/7/7/2/7/1/Dell-UltraSharp-U4919DW-Datenblatt.pdf) weighs "only" 11.4 kg without the stand. According to the specifications of this monitor arm, this is actually no problem, but would I still have to buy the joint recommended here (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/QuestionAndAnswer/selbst-den-49-curved-329-monitor-von-samsung-haelt-der-arm-zuverlaessig-spitzen-produkt-205254)? Or can I rely on the fact that with an arm designed for a payload of 19 kg, the 11.4 kg will be no problem?

So far it makes a very solid impression and holds even when fully extended. I tightened the screws on the table a bit after mounting. Hope this helps you.
