Question about Natural Point TrackIR 5 Gamer Set
I have heard that the Tracking Clip Pro breaks down quickly. At 70.- for a replacement, I wonder if it is worth buying TrackIR at all (if these allegations are true). Does anyone have any experience with the stability of the clip?

Nothing will actually break if handled properly.... Mine is still alive and in good health... unless I step on it. I think it plays a significant role how you treat your things, whether they last or "break quickly".
That is not true! I've had the TrackIR 5 since 2013 and it works flawlessly. The thing is stable if you're not a complete idiot and drop it unnecessarily or hitchhike on it. Once the thing is properly mounted on the headphones, then nothing can really go wrong. I use the thing almost daily and have done so since I bought it (2013).
