I have had a CCU, occupancy sensor, 1-gang switch actuator, roller shutter actuator, 6-gang button, wall thermostat and a motion sensor in our new extension for 1 month. I have already had to reset the motion detector 6 times in 1 week (remove the battery) because there was a communication error. Today I had the same problem with the 1-gang switch actuator. Relearning does not bring any improvement. It's a real pain when you've spent so much money and it doesn't work stably. Does anyone have a solution? I have already read several reports about this problem. Can I send the whole system back if the problem can't be solved Galaxus? :(

Hello
I recommend using the tester for just under 100 Stutz to place and test the radio signal. This can be used to check the radio reception before installation. Two HM IP access points are also currently possible, which extend the range of the network. A switch-metering socket can also help to extend the network, provided this function is switched on there.
It should be absolutely clear that all massive components weaken the radio reception. That is why there is the "Wired" system from HM, which can also be used in combination with radio.
Good luck!

I have been operating an extensive Homematic system for 1.5 years - 98% of the time it works perfectly.
- Rarely have I lost contact with a device, e.g. the actuators - which are supplied via the 220V mains. What always worked: Switch off the fuse in the affected 220V mains segment (circuit), wait 5 sec, switch on the fuse again.
- In 1.5 years I have not had to change a single battery. I operate most of the motion detectors in ECO mode.
- To ensure that the radio connection works perfectly, 3 repeaters are used in the building (3 floors + basement), the CCU3 is located approximately in the middle of the building.

Hello
Usually these are connection problems, I also had this with a switching actuator. I had to move it 10 cm because it was shielded. Since then it has been quiet. I have 57 devices running on a CCU3. I also have an access point to support the radio range. Can you relocate the CCU3? Can you read out the RSSI value of the "problem actuators"? That would give an indication of the signal strength. I do this with the "PocketControl" app.

Hello
the HmIP-SPI motion detector needs a lot of battery, others less. Also depends on how the motion detector is set. is the CCU far away? Are the actuators in the heat or outside?
You can configure quite a lot. Caution: Do not use rechargeable batteries, they last much less time in my experience.
Also important: install the latest firmware everywhere (CCU3 and all actuators) (takes up to three days...).
