I have DELL VOSTRO 460 ( I5 processor ) bought in 2010 with 4GB RAM. It still works perfectly, but would like to increase the RAM to 8 GB or more, will this be compatible, please advise.

I found not that much about the mainboard in this Dell, but it should work, as the specs are what your board can handle. Give it a try. Just to be honest, you can't be sure until you tried.
