Sony Alpha 7R III

I have been taking photos with the Sony Alpha 7II for about 4 years, mainly landscapes, fireworks, Advent, macro etc. and would now like to buy the successor camera 7II. However, I am also interested in the Alpha 7R III because of its resolution (42MP). Is it worth buying the camera, which is about CHF 1,000 more expensive than the Alpha 7 III? If so, what are the advantages?
The advantage of the 7RIII over the 7III is the higher resolution and a significantly higher resolution viewfinder.
The question you have to ask yourself is, do you need 42MP? I shoot a lot of portraits and people, so it's advantageous if you can crop the image a little without losing too many pixels. But a RAW is also 85MB big, so the setup has to be right in post-processing.
Good day, yes, the advantages are, as already mentioned by Frank, that you can crop the image a little without losing quality and that you can print the images in large format. I still use the A73 in parallel for timelapses and the resolution is absolutely sufficient for normal use.
