I have a Teleboy internet connection right now with Fritzbox 7582 as router (connect directly to wall VSDL outlet). I have a few questions: 1) If I move to google nest wif, do I need to connect google nest router with the Fritzbox or I could just directly connect google nest router from the wall outlet. 2) I have dropped internet connection problem right now with the Fritzbox 7582 together with 3 Fritzbox repeater, if I switch to google nest wifi, will the situation improve? If not, do you have a commendation on which mesh system I should pick? Many thanks for your advise

Helpful answer

1) For sure you still have to use your xDSL router to convert sygnal to Ethernet. Google WIFI supports 1Gb/s connection.
2) Impossible to answer on this question w.o knowledge how your premice looks like, what materials used for walls etc. You have to check Test here on Galaxus to compare with own situation. For me it is improvement. Don't forget it doesn't supports WiFi6 yet!

1) As stated by @Akovov, you still need the xDSL router to connect to the wall plug. Than you will connect the Google WiFi to the Ethernet port.
2) I had used past repeater (Fritx, Netgear and TP-Link)... none of them had the same results, for me, as the Google WiFi The Mesh is quite simple to set-up and efficient. It will be a matter of "where to install / map your wifi mesh" but it will be an improvement...

at least it is for me.
