I have a Lenovo L590 laptop and bought the Satechi ST-SCMA2M to give my L590 a second HDMI output. My problem is when I connect the Satechi with HMDI(Monitor1) cable everything works fine, but when I plug my second HDMI(Monitor2) cable into the standard plug of my L590, my laptop only shows the Satechi HDMI(Monitor1). Short version: I can no longer use my standard HDMI output from my L590 when an HDMI cable is connected to the Satechi. For me in this case a "stupid" investment because I actually only need the second HDMI output from Satechi. Thank you very much for reading
I suspect that it selects either usb-C or HDMI. I have heard that HP and dell only support the maximum number of monitors (3 for the L590) correctly with their own docking station. This could also be the case with Lenovo.
