Question about Zyxel XGS-PON Bridge PM7300

I bought this device but it is unusable. I can't access it at http://192.168.0.1 as described in the QuickStart Guide to configure it. It assigns strange IP addresses to my computer like 169.254.211.51. Does not work with other computers. This is the first product I have ever bought and it is simply unusable.

You need to configure your manual IP address within the router's address range.
For example
192.168.0.2
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (Zyxel address)

Only then will you be able to access the Zyxel router interface with 192.168.0.1.

Once your router is configured, don't forget to reset your PC's IP address to DHCP.
