Question about HyperX Fury
i bought exactly this memory a few days ago and now i want to upgrade from 16gb to 32gb. can i just buy 2x8gb of exactly the same memory again or would i have to order it as a whole, i.e. 4x8gb from the beginning?
However, it is important that the slots are correct, as the manufacturer of the actual RAM cannot be the same. So if you order 2x8GB again, they probably belong in slot A1 and B1, if you have the already installed RAM in A2 and B2 (normally). This worked for me when I ordered 2x8GB in the promotion ;-) Important, one RAM pair belongs in A2/B2 and the other in A1/B1... as soon as all this works, you should be able to see all occupied RAM slots with tools like "CAM" or better with "CPUID CPU-Z" and use the full 32GB ;-)
