Question about ASUS ZenWiFi XT8 WiFi 6 AX6600 (2 Pack)
I bought a double pack of these devices in April 24. Setup and operation are simple and good. But now I've got a new modem from the network provider, my internet speed is no longer 500MBs but now 2GBs. The ASUS router, which is connected to the Sunrise modem, reports the full 2GBs Internet speed in the app, but I don't get a speed of more than 600MBs on any device in the network, whether WLAN or LAN So I can pull the LAN cable directly from the Sunrise modem to the computer and have 2GBs. If I take the LAN diversions via the ASUS router then the speed drops to 600MBs I have only minimal difference between LAN and WLAN My routers are located on two floors directly above each other and have not yet had to be connected with a LAN cable to deliver the 500MBs. But to be sure that it doesn't fail, I have also connected via cable. It hardly makes a difference and all the cables I use are CAT7 cables. Do the devices have a defect, do I have to send them back? Or do I just have to reset them completely?

You have 4 LAN ports on the routers. 3 yellow and 1 blue. Only the blue port has a data throughput of 2.5Gbps and is intended for WAN. The 3 yellow LAN ports only have a data throughput of 1 Gbps. So if you connect your laptop/PC directly via LAN cable to one of the yellow ports, you should definitely get 1Gpbs displayed on the network card!
What is displayed on the network card is the maximum possible transfer rate of the LAN or WLAN connection anyway. For example, my Android mobile shows a connection speed of 1200 Mbps. I am connected to the 2nd router which is connected to the main router via MESH uplink (not LAN uplink). However, my Internet connection from the provider is only max. 500 Mbps. My laptop network card only has a maximum throughput of 1Gbps, so even if I connected directly to your Sunrise modem, which appears to have 2Gbps LAN connections, it would only show me 1Gbps.
However, it is quite difficult to analyse what exactly is configured in your system and what devices you have. Do you have a special network card in your PC that displays 2 Gbps directly on the Sunrise modem? Because the vast majority of standard network cards usually only have 1 Gbps anyway.
