Unfortunately, the SAT Finder is not suitable for this purpose. I bought it and immediately took it out of service after a first try. For this, you need better devices that can be programmed accordingly.

With a lot of available time, it is also possible with the SAT finder, but there should already be aligned mirrors in the vicinity or you can use an app on your smartphone to align the antenna approximately. Even after that, it will not be easy for the fine alignment. In the past, analogue satellites could be aligned with a monitor (TV) via the noise, but with today's digital satellites it is no longer possible, as it gives a good picture or else breaks off.

The satellite finder only shows the reception strength. It does not show which satellite it is.
