Hola! What about the picture quality when connected to a Mac Air M2? Is the text still blurred then?

Helpful answer

Not ideal, but mainly because of the moderate resolution of the screen of only 2560x1440 pixels (that's just about right but small fonts can't be displayed sharply), since a Mac air has a very high-resolution screen anyway, I would definitely also take a 4K 3840x2160 pixel resolution for the external monitor, so that even small fonts are razor-sharp.

My suggestion would be this model, it has a USB-C

docking function and a LAN connection:

Philips 279P1/00 (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 27")

This one would be okay too, but it's much more expensive:

If 32 inches would also work, then this one would certainly be good, also with LAN connection:

iiyama XUB3293UHSN-B1 HDMI+DP+USB-C IPS (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 31.50")

The Dell UltraSharp U2722DE is a 27-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This gives a pixel density of around 109 PPI (pixels per inch), which is close to 110 PPI, an ideal value for non-Retina displays when used with a Mac.

When you connect the Dell UltraSharp U2722DE to a MacBook Air M2, image quality should be good and text should appear clear and sharp, provided you use the recommended

"Default for this display" scaling setting in your Mac's System Preferences. This scaling setting allows for the best display of text and user interfaces without putting additional load on the GPU and without unnecessary scaling that could result in blurred text.
