Hello all Which dock or port replication do you use or would you use if you had the following initial situation (like me): - MBP 13 M1 2020 - 2 Thunderbolt ports - 1 4K monitor DP 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 - Apple Cinema Display with TB2 (1 adapter TB3 > TB2 available, display just standing around). - 1 2TB Thunderbolt Disk (Video DB) - 1 TB USB-C disk (Pic DB - doesn't have to be that fast) - a few rather unimportant USB devices (USB-C, USB-A port, the flat one, e.g. card reader, 1 Confcam, USB sticks etc.) - A charging function on the docking station would be very useful (so that when the Mac is connected, it would also be charged or receive juice from there). I would like to use both displays and the highest possible speed for both disks... Yes, I know, actually only 1 external display works on the M1... No, unfortunately I can't/won't do without the Mac M1 at the moment. Is there such a miracle weapon or doc...? Thanks for your tips and feedback and have a good day.

Unfortunately, I can't offer you a recommendation for your question, but I would advise you, if at all possible, to wait another 2-3 weeks, as it is likely that Apple will introduce more devices based on Apple Silicon in the near future (I expect mid-October). I also think it is likely that Macbooks with a new generation of Apple Silicon (potentially M1X) will be introduced and that they will be available in a reasonably short time (they are potentially already delayed). This will change the starting position or the "capabilities" for your requirements and then you can still decide whether there are better options for your situation with a "Macbook Pro 14" M1X" or whether you will find a good solution with M1.

But otherwise about the device itself: I have the 13" Macbook Pro 16G/1TB and am 100% satisfied. The cam is crap, but otherwise it's by far the best device I've ever had and a huge difference to the 16" i9 or 13 2020 i5 Macbook. The performance and especially the efficiency is phenomenal.
