Question about Samsung Smart M7 M70B

Hi, I've had this screen since yesterday and have 2 quick questions: a) Image transfer from my laptop only works via HDMI, with a USB-C to USB-C (100W, 480Mbps) alone the image transfer does not work (but charging does), it must be a Thunderbolt cable?! b) I want the screen to go into standby mode when my laptop goes into standby mode (it does), but I also want it to restart on its own when I log back into the laptop - is that possible?
