Question about Delock KVM switch 2

Hello When I plug my mouse (cable, but I prefer wireless) into one of the USB ports, nothing happens. Other USB devices are not recognised either. Is it me or rather the switch? The three USB slots at least seem to have power. I use 1 laptop and 1 Surface with dock on screen 1 and the Surface with dock directly on screen 2. Regards Romano
