Hello...I urgently need help please! I bought the Google Pixel 7A here today...I'm with Salt and have a 5G antenna right on the block of flats next door. But when I insert the SIM card or switch it on/off I have 5G for about 30 seconds and then I'm banned directly to LTE. Preferred network type is correctly set to 5G and connectivity control is disabled so that the phone does not control or throttle connectivity to save power. I don't know what to do, can anyone help me? For comparison: with my Motorola Edge 40 I always had 5G with up to 800mbits (up to 100 Mb) with the same supplier/settings for me this is very important because I use the hotspot often..... Thanks for any help.
It probably doesn't really help, but I don't have any problems with the eSIM and Sunrise, even with rather poor reception. Everything stays on 5G. Is it possible to create & test an eSIM from Salt to rule out the SIM card factor?
Thank you very much for the answer and the attempt to help....the phone is fine and my settings were also correct....I can't wait for a mobile phone at work in case of a defect and therefore have 2 mobile phones..... After I was annoyed, the sim went back into the Motorola Edge 40 and lo and behold.....30 seconds of 5G then immediately into the LTE....Sim back into the Pixel and the same game...thought it couldn't be.... obviously as luck would have it, I put the device into operation exactly when Salt had a problem with the 5G network, which happens briefly 1-2 times a year....Now I can laugh heartily and my Pixel stays nicely in 5G as intended and even has a little more speed than the Motorola Edge 40 .... incredible 850mbits/s or almost 106 megabytes/s....I'm so happy with the phone...nice and small and valuable....Thank you again for the help!
