Yes, this works perfectly. I connected mine via Thunderbolt (USB-C).

I bought this display last week and I also own a MBP 14" 2023.
If you use the USB-C Thunderbolt 4 cable supplied with the screen, and plug it into the 90w port, the screen will work perfectly and charge the battery of your MacBook Pro.
