Question about Digitus USB Extender
Hello, can I use this device to bring an old printer into the "network"? i.e. via a long cable with a swich, and to print on it via different PCs?
I agree with the previous respondents. So far 3x no. Sorry, it is only used to extend the USB via network cable. There must be no switch in between. Only direct cat cable connections.
No... the network connector is only for transporting USB DATA information, it does not convert the information to LAN DATA
No. This device is only a USB extension and is there to extend the maximum length of a USB connection from 5m to approx. 30m and not a device visible in the network. However, it would work in conjunction with a USB print server. But maybe only a print server is enough for you.
