Hello together I bought this monitor new and use it via the USB-C connection with my MacBook Air, which is also new. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the monitor's built-in webcam - even the Mac's not-exciting webcam is much better. With the monitor camera, I'm not even in focus. Is there somehow a way to improve the video display, either through settings on the monitor itself or via the laptop? Thank you!

I also use the monitor for my home office. It is connected to my business notebook (HP Elitebook 840 G5) via a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) cable. This works wonderfully, i.e. image and sound transmission in one direction and WebCam, LAN and power in the other. Next to it, my private Acer Nitro is connected to the monitor via HDMI. Switching back and forth works quite well.
During video conferences, no one has ever told me that I'm "out of focus" ;-), but a clear noise is visible, no matter how good or bad the light is (usually rather strong light from behind). The image does indeed look a bit blurred, but I think (at least for me) that it is simply "pixelated", just like image noise. I wanted to scrape a non-existent protective film off the webcam, but noticed in time that there was none at all. The webcam built into the HP is definitely much better, but it's out of the question for video calls because the laptop is far away.
What also didn't work out optimally: I had to connect my Jabra USB headset directly to the HP again. The audio connection via Thunderbolt was simply too bad when making phone calls or video calls with a connection to the monitor. But that could also be due to the Thunderbolt cable. In the office, everything is connected to two monitors and via the HP docking station and I have very good quality there; the Thunderbolt cable of the docking station is much shorter (approx. 50 cm, at home it is 80 cm).

Unfortunately, I can confirm that. With this blurred camera, you can also be seen unshaven in virtual meetings. But this "feature" cannot be deactivated.
