Hello, should you be able to lay the flat cable by the window without any problems if the window is opened 2-3 times a day? Or are there special transition Ethernet cables?

Hello, no special transition necessary, cable is flat enough. I just fixed it with some adhesive tape, open the windows several times per day with no issues
