Hello, my father has tried to install the product at home. However, our home Wi-Fi is no longer working at all. He thinks the problem is that our wifi is fibre optic internet and this is not compatible. Is this correct? and if so, what other option is there to improve the Wi-Fi signal in the other rooms, if not with a powerline?

Hello , the problem as you have described it is not very clear , and it is difficult to help you . What I can tell you is that with fibre optic or not , the Modem has the exact same features and operation . If the Wi-Fi doesn't reach all the rooms and you want to improve the situation , the best way is to take an Ethernet cable directly from the Modem to the room or near the dead spot and attach a Wi-Fi repeater to the wall . Or use Devolo's Wi-Fi Repeaters which are the best, allowing you to have the Internet signal passing through the home power grid from Point A (Devolo attached to the Modem) to Point B (Devolo placed in the room) . And of course set it as a repeater of the modem's Wi-Fi network with the same credentials . I hope I have been helpful . Hi

Difficult to help if you don't know exactly what has been done. I installed one of these a fortnight ago and was successful straight away. In any case, you can pretty much rule out that it has something to do with the fibre optics. I would be happy to provide further information.
A mesh could be an alternative to Powerline.
