Hello, I would like to connect my macbook pro Retina 15 inch from mid 2014 to a 32 inch monitor via thunderbolt. However, the graphics card (Nvidia Gforce GT750m) outputs a maximum of 1440p at 60Hz. Is this monitor worth it or should I rather get one in WQHD? The application is for home office and Ableton. And isn't WQHD too pixelated at 32"? (Seat distance about 80 cm)

Hi, so as far as I know, the 2014 MacBook Pro 2 has Thunderbolt 2 ports. The display does not have Thunderbolt, but it does have USB C. The connection should be possible with an adapter. I have a MacBook Pro M1 2021 and it works without any problems. I can't say much about the possible resolution, because I previously had a 5K screen, also from LG, and in comparison I don't have a "pixelated" picture, even if the quality doesn't match the 5K.
 I also have no problems when editing images. The different resolutions can be selected on the screen. 
I really like the ergonomics of the screen.
