Question about G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB
Hello, I have a problem with the Ram and wanted to ask if this is only my problem or if it is a data error. I used the ram for a while on automatic clock frequency, later I noticed that it only clocked to 3200MHz so I changed it to 6400MHz, then problems arose that could be solved by clocking it down again. My question is this only with me?
Exciting! I also had problems after upgrading to 6400Mhz.
It turned out that the motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI) does not officially support this series of the manufacturer (mea culpa), but other manufacturers with these speeds do, but the next faster one from this manufacturer would already be supported again if I remember correctly.
Anyway, the system now runs very stable, but only on 4800Mhz :-S I would have to tackle this again. Any useful tips are very welcome :-)

The BIOS of the mainboard had to be updated first.
Then I had to increase the frequency in my MSI MAINBOARD as a test. After the last mainboard update, I was able to make full use of the 6400 MHz with a test programme that loaded the RAM and CPU to 100%. Passed 5 minutes of full stress without errors and increased temperature.

Hello, have you selected a DDR6400 XMP profile or entered the 6400MHz clock frequency directly? 3200Mhz clock frequency already corresponds to DDR6400. If tools such as CPU-Z read out 3200MHz, then the modules are already running correctly at 6400MHz.
