Question about Optoma CinemaX P2
Hello, have you noticed any software problems after 2-3 years of use? I'm starting to have problems with frozen volume, and problems with the projector crashing when it starts up. Am I the only one? (Firmware System C12, MCU C07 and DDP C04, but given the problems people have had with upgrades, I'm reluctant to apply an update).

No problems so far, it continues to function normally. I bought it two years ago
Every few months it crashes but otherwise it works well. I hardly use any special modes or filters that you can set in the settings, only hdmi from the PC.
I bought about 3 years ago, the software wasn’t the best from beginning. The problem was similar to what you wrote. Nevertheless it was working till 6,7months ago, it started to show overheating error and forced to switch off. I sent back for warranty repair. I think they changed some parts and updated firmware . Now the software seems better performing than before. Even the noise from the fan became less.
Sorry, I can't answer your question because I didn't even know there had been an update and so my device still works as it did originally, which is to say very well.
