- The device uses the manufacturer's technology, known as "OneMesh™", to extend the existing WiFi network and form a unified mesh network structure when connected to a compatible OneMesh™ router.
- It clones the router's WiFi settings and transfers them to the new endpoint to ensure a seamless extension of the existing network. This is done using the "Wi-Fi Clone" function.

The existing WiFi network is thus expanded and a new, separate WiFi network is not created.
