Hello digitec I got the product today I plugged them in and they don't work you can hear a slight scratching sound Did I do something wrong or what happened?

Test the jack of your device with another headset or headphones. This will tell you whether the problem is with the newly purchased headset (Razer Blackshark) or with the jack (or its settings). --- If it's only a problem with the microphone: With the microphone of the Razer Blackshark, make sure that the mute button (small button on the back of the left ear cup) is not pressed.
