Question about Sony Alpha 7 II

Hello all Recently there was a promotion where I could buy the camera. There were a certain number of cameras on sale. When I unpacked the box, I noticed that there was a Sony adhesive over the box opening flap, as if it had been opened by a service centre and resealed with the adhesive tape. Until now I have known the round transparent glue. I also noticed that there was no protective film over the display, which is actually standard. The battery was also completely empty, which is actually equivalent to a deep discharge and could reduce its capacity or shorten its lifespan. Are these products from returns or repairs, or how should I interpret this? Thank you very much!
