Hello all I would like to use this adapter to connect my speakers via 3.5 mm jack to the adapter and then plug it into my TV. I would like to use the Bluetooth to listen to music via my mobile phone without the TV having to be switched on. Is this possible and can I watch TV without sound delay? If it doesn't work, does anyone know of another possibility? Many thanks and greetings Sascha
Hello Sascha,
This is a complex problem and I'm not quite sure I'm interpreting correctly.
1) If you connect the adapter directly to the speakers (I assume they are active speakers and the second speaker is powered by the first one via cable), you can play music directly on them with your mobile phone without turning on the TV.
2) What exactly do you want to connect to the TV? You already have the adapter on the speakers. Or do you want to connect a second one to the TV to make it BT-compatible?
3 Sound delays are a complex issue. I would answer your question with "Yes, but" (Bligg says hello ;-)). The "but" refers to the unknown components. If they are equipped with current BT standards, the probability is high that the latencies are not noticeable. Otherwise, this could be a problem.
Among other things, the complicated transmission path of the sound is to blame for such latencies (delays). In addition, Bluetooth operates in a frequency band that is also used by almost all other wireless technologies. New Bluetooth standards cope better with this than old ones.
