I currently have the 16-35mm lens on my a7III. Unfortunately, it's a bit too wide-angle for filming for me and the distortion is noticeable.
Now I have seen the 24-105mm.
The focal length would suit me.
Has anyone had any experience with this lens?
How good, fast and reliable is the AF?
Does the lens have a nice look?
Are there any problems or anything?

I have an a7RII and with it I had a Sigma 24-105mm, f/4 DG HSM ART. Unfortunately I started to have more and more problems with the shaking. Unfortunately this one didn't have a stabiliser. So I changed to the Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS.
I am very happy with it. The AF works quickly and accurately. You have to give the stabiliser some time, because it only switches on when the shutter release button is pressed halfway. But it is still much better than the internal SteadyShot. The Sigma baton switched on with the camera.

Hello Tim !

I bought the lens some time ago and am primarily filming with the Sony A3. The lens is in my opinion sharp and gives no vignette effect. Only with the AF I am not completely satisfied! Sometimes it jumps around or doesn't focus properly. But it could also be that it's a setting thing. Maybe get another opinion on this....it is a Sony lens after all 🤔.
