HDR 1000 is advertised here, but Windows does not recognise the certificate and only 200 nits in HDR mode, according to Windows... What's going on?
Windows did not recognise the digital signature of the driver offered by Acer and was unable to install the drivers. As a result, my monitor had HDR activated when it should be deactivated and vice versa, as well as the picture being very dark. I was about to return the monitor, but then had the idea that the forced signature check could be deactivated.
To do this, go to the settings and then there should be a function in the "Restore" window to start Windows in extended startup mode. The PC will then restart and show several functions that can be deactivated (including signature verification). After deactivating this function and then restarting, the Acer driver can be installed and the monitor will then display the brightness and HDR correctly.
