Question about LG 38wk95c-W

Have had the monitor connected to my MacBook Air M1 since May 2021. The sharpness of the writing - how does it look there with you, is slightly distorted or blurred. It's minimal, but you can see that on a $1,000 monitor. The font on my old 2012 27 inch IMac was 100 worlds better and sharper. Am I looking at a "one-off" model, or what are your experiences?
