Question about Roccat Leadr
Has this happened to you too: I have both a Roccat Leadr and a Roccat Tyon Mouse. With the Roccat Leadr, however, I've already had the same problem 3 times, after less than 24 hours = the spring function of the X-Celerator has broken. I play shooters regularly. I use the X-Celerator to load my weapon and, in certain games like Destiny or ANTHEM, to jump. Especially ANTHEM involves a lot of jumping and I've already broken 3 mice. But I've never had this problem with the Tyon.... It's a pity, otherwise I find the Leadr so much more pleasant without cables...
I have 2 Tyon and one Leadr. The problem with the spring happened twice with the Leadr and Tyon. I took a nib from a pen both times and fixed it that way. Since I had a comparison it was easy...next step is to 3D print the plastic part and make it less angular...I use the X-Celerator almost all the time and want to save my thumb ;)
I am 3 months too late, but I have the same problem that the spring was broken and I intend to make it myself, but I do not (yet) know how it has to be clamped during reassembly. Would appreciate some advice.
I've had my Leadr for 13 months now and haven't had any problems. But I had the same problem with the Tyon before.
Yes, the same thing happened to me today, also in Anthem. However, I need the X-Celator for close combat. It lasted 8 months for me.
