Question about Microsoft Surface Pro X

Hello all I have been using the unit for three days now. Everything is wonderful and the unit runs really well. However, my idea was that I will replace the SSD. I have now tried almost everything and am at a standstill, unfortunately I don't know what to do. The machine does not recognise any USB devices when booting. So I can't boot from the USB stick, although I have set everything. I have already tested the following: Secure Boot deactivated BitLocker deactivated Created a recovery drive on two different SD cards and a USB stick. Downloaded a system image with the product information directly from Microsoft Changed the boot order in UEFI Nothing works... The unit won't even boot from the USB with the original SSD, I find that very strange. I just can't get it to recognise the USB devices and then boot from there. I hope someone else has a good idea, I'm running out of them now. Thank you very much.

Helpful answer

Apparently it does not work with all USB sticks. When the USB stick is plugged in again, it should be recognised in Explorer. Unfortunately, I can't say anything more about it. Good luck!
