Is the first sentence a question?
The problem won't necessarily be the airflow, but whether the cable of the fan is long enough AND whether the clamps on the side work.
Have the thing sitting on a 9700 and 4 RGB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288) and the fan goes in the front too. It's against the RAM, but it fits. Mainboard MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon (LGA 1151, Intel Z390, ATX)
