Yes, the joints can be rotated 180⁰ from back to front. At some point, however, the monitors are up against each other.

I don't think the mount is robust enough for constant back and forth adjustment. The joints seem to be designed more to maintain the desired setting permanently.
I think that if you need to make constant changes, you need a more expensive mount.
