Good day Can I connect this subwoofer directly with a chinch cable to a Samsung Soundbar aux-in connection, or do I need a reciver.

The subwoofer is active, so it would work. However, you would have to connect it to the Aux OUT of the Soundbar. The Aux-IN is for connecting a TV or mobile phone, for example.
